CBSE CTET 2025 Application Form: The Central Board of Secondary Education will soon make the CTET 2025 Application Form available on the official website, i.e., ctet.nic.in. Recently, the authority announced the exam dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam in an official notification. The CTET exam will be organised by the CBSE on February 8, 2026.

While filling the application form, candidates are required to fill in details such as their state, identification type, candidate’s name, date of birth, and gender. Candidates should read the CTET notification PDF carefully before applying or submitting their CTET application form.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted twice a year and is held in the offline mode. As per the notification, the examination will be held in twenty languages in 132 cities across the country. The authority will conduct the National Level Central Teacher Eligibility Test in two shifts.

How to apply for the CTET 2025 Application Form?

Check the steps given below to fill in the CTET form:

  1. After registration, Candidates can log in using their details on the official website.
  2. Fill in your personal information and educational background in the online application form.
  3. Candidates have to upload their scanned copies of their signature and photo in the format specified.
  4. After filling details, pay using a debit/credit card/ UPI, or online banking for the CTET exam.
  5. Check all the details and submit the CTET 2025 application form.
  6. Save and download the confirmation page for personal records.

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates can check the CTET eligibility criteria 2025 given below:

  1. Nationality: Indian citizens only.
  2. Paper 1 (Classes 1-5):  Class 12 with 50%/45% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Education or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education, or Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree + BEd.
  3. Paper 2 (Classes 6-8): Graduation with 50%/40% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or BEd or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education, or Senior Secondary with 50% marks + cleared/appearing in final year of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed.

CTET Application Form 2025: Examination date out

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on February 8, 2026. Both papers 1 and 2 will be held in two separate shifts on the same day.

CTET 2025: Supreme Court order on mandatory eligibility rule

According to the Supreme Court mandate, it is now compulsory for every candidate who wants to become a teacher to take the TET examination. The Supreme Court also ruled that if a teacher has less than five years left on their job contract and was hired before the RTE Act, they are exempt from taking the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET).
