It is recommended that interested candidates carefully read the comprehensive notification before submitting their CTET 2025 application form. The CTET examination is administered twice a year by CBSE. The offline format is used for the CTET exam. The test will be held in twenty languages in 132 cities all over the country.
According to the Supreme Court TET mandate, it is mandatory for aspirants who aspire to become teachers to take the TET exam. Furthermore, prospective and current teachers who were hired before the RTE Act do not need to take the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) if they have less than five years of employment remaining.
CTET Exam: Eligibility criteria
For the candidates' reference, below is the CTET eligibility criteria:
- Nationality: Indian citizens only.
- Paper 1 (Classes 1-5): Class 12 with 50%/45% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Education or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education, or Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree + BEd.
- Paper 2 (Classes 6-8): Graduation with 50%/40% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or BEd or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education, or Senior Secondary with 50% marks + cleared/appearing in final year of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed.
How to fill the CTET 2025 application form?
Given below are the steps to fill in the CTET form:
- After registering themselves for the CTET exam, candidates have to log in using their registration number on the official portal.
- Then, they have to enter their personal information and educational background in the online application form.
- They have to provide scanned copies of their signature and photo in the format specified.
- Use a debit/credit card/ UPI, or online banking to pay the CTET exam fee.
- Submit the CTET 2025 application form.
