The state Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has extended the last date for self-verification, seat acceptance, and reporting to the allotted institute for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2025 for BE, BTech and MBA, MMS programmes till August 4. CAP round 1 seat allotment is already out on cetcell.mahacet.org.

For MHT CET CAP 2025 for BE, BTech, candidates can accept seats and make fee payment before 3 pm on August 4 whereas the deadline for institute reporting is 5 pm on August 4.

In case of MAH MBA CAP 2025, reporting to the allotted institute and confirmation of admission by submitting required documents and payment of fee after CAP round 1 is available up to 5 pm on August 4. The seats offered by the institutes can be accepted through login up to 3 pm only.

MAH CET Counselling 2025: Post seat allotment activities

MHT CET CAP round 1 seat allotment 2025 was published on July 31 for both engineering and MBA courses. The candidates are required to self-verify the seat allotment by accepting the declaration through login and certifying that their claims regarding the qualifying marks, category, gender, reservation, specific reservation etc. in the application form are correct and relevant documents uploaded to substantiate the claims are authentic and correct.

If a candidate finds that the claim made by them is not correct and they want to rectify the error, they should report the grievance online.

Candidates who have been allotted the seat as per their first preference in MAH MBA CAP 2025 round I will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and such candidates shall not be eligible for participation in subsequent rounds of counselling.

Whereas, candidates who have been allotted other than first preference and want betterment in the subsequent rounds must claim the allotted seat in round 1 by accepting that seat by choosing ‘Not Freeze/Betterment’ option for betterment and shall pay the seat acceptance fee.

Those who accept the seat must report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. The institute shall verify the required documents and upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through institute login immediately and shall issue a system-generated receipt of confirmation of admission and fee-paid receipt to the candidate.

If it is found that the seat allotted to the candidate is based on the false claims made in the applications by the candidate, then the institute shall not admit such a candidate and such candidate shall raise the grievance.
