UGC NET 2025: NTA has issued an advisory for candidates to complete the form filling, submit the prescribed exam fee, and keep a printed copy of the application for future use.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2025 on November 7. NTA has advised candidates to submit the application form, pay the required fee, and keep a printout of the form for future use.
NTA will conduct the UGC NET December 2025 exam from December 31 to January 7 across the country. The city slip will be issued 10 days before the exam begins on its official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The UGC NET December 2025 admit card date is yet to be announced by NTA.
Earlier, the testing agency advised candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar and Unique Disability ID (UDID) are updated for the application form filling. The UGC NET exam is held to evaluate the eligibility of candidates for assistant professor posts, JRF, and PhD admissions.

UGC NET 2025 application fee is Rs 1,150 for the general category, Rs 600 for EWS and OBC-NCL, and Rs 325 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The application form correction window for UGC NET 2025 will open from November 10 to 12.
