UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025: Candidates can fill DAF between July 29 and August 12 on upsconline.gov.in.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result for the written examination of the Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 on the official website, upsc.gov.in. A total of 296 candidates have qualified for the interview or personality test.
Of total; 64 candidates have qualified for geologist group A, 135 for scientist B (hydrogeology) or assistant hydrogeologist, 69 for geophysicist or scientist B (geophysics) or assistant geophysicist, and 28 for chemist or scientist b(chemical) or assistant chemist posts.
The commission informed that the candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claim relating to age, educational qualifications, community, physical disability, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) etc. at the time of the personality test.

A 15 day window will be opened for the UPSC candidates who have cleared the written exam to fill their educational qualifications from July 29 to August 12 at upsconline.gov.in.
The candidates who did not have the prescribed educational qualification at the time of registration for UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 shall be required to update their details and to upload the proof of passing of the requisite qualifying examination on the One Time Registration (OTR) module, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the personality test or interview and their candidature will be liable to be cancelled.
During this period, all the candidates qualified will also be provided an option to update correspondence or post address, higher qualification, achievement in different field, employment details or service experience, service allocation, service preferences (if qualified for both the categories of posts).
“The details updated in this window will be treated as final and no request for any change in these fields received through any other mode will be entertained,” said UPSC.
UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 exam was conducted on June 21 and 22 for candidates who qualified the Prelims result 2025. The recruitment aims to fill 85 vacancies in various posts.
