AEEE slot booking 2025 process begins for BTech admissions; how to select exam date, time

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has started the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE 2025) slot booking process for BTech aspirants through candidate login on the official website, aeee.amrita.edu. Interested candidates will have to submit the AEEE application form by January 25.

Amrita university will conduct the AEEE 2025 exam in two phases - phase 1 will be held on February 1 and 2 and phase 2 on May 10 and 14. The national-level engineering entrance exams, which evaluate students’ aptitude in subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry and English, will be held in 3 slots.
Registered candidates will be able to select the AEEE exam date and time of their choice to attempt the test. This process is called AEEE slot booking. As per the schedule, slot 1 will be conducted from 8.30 am to 11 am, slot 2 from 12 noon and 2.30 pm, and slot 3 from 3.30 pm to 6 pm.
Admission to BTech courses offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore Faridabad and Nagercoil campuses will be based on AEEE or JEE Main 2025 score.

“Test centre, number of days and operating slots in a day will be finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of date and slot will be on a first come first serve basis,” the university said. In case a candidate does not exercise the options, the university will assign a date and slot as per the availability.
To book AEEE exam date and slot, registered candidates will have to click on the candidate login and slot booking link provided on the official portal and follow the guidelines given below.
- Login through the portal, aeee.amrita.edu, using mobile number and email ID.
- Verify using the OTP sent to the candidate’s mobile or email.
- After logging in, candidates will have to select the exam date and slots based on the availability.
- To change the test date, click on the “Change Test Date” button.
- Check exam centre, date and time before confirmation.
- Click the “Confirm Slot” button to confirm slot booking.
“Since other candidates will also be using the same slot booking portal simultaneously, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes his/her selection and the particular slot chosen by the candidate may not be available,” it said. In such cases, the candidate will be prompted to choose another date and slot.
