The Bihar government has revised internship stipends for MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, and paramedical after years of student protests; physiotherapy interns to get Rs 18,000.
Under PMIS, companies made 82,077 internship offers in round 1 and 71,458 offers in round 2 of the pilot project, as per the corporate affairs ministry.
Under the ELI scheme, first-time employees will get one month's wage up to Rs 15,000, the employers will be given incentives for a period of two year.
As per the new recommendation, the stipend would be revised to Rs 6,800 - Rs 12,300 from Rs 5,000 - Rs 9,000, aiming to reduce the dropout rate and attract more candidates across various sectors.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana: The scheme is open to candidates aged 18 to 35 years, who are residents of Maharashtra and have passed at least 12th grade.
PM Internship Scheme 2025: Applicants will get internship offers in multiple roles across various sectors including IT, software development, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, telecom and others.
