AFCAT 2025 admit card out; Air Force exam on August 23, 24

The admit card for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 2) 2025 has been released for recruitment to the Indian Air Force. The eligibility exam will be conducted on August 23 and 24, in two shifts - at 8 am and at 1 pm. Candidates’ designated shift will be mentioned in the admit card.

AFCAT 2025 admit card is available on the official website of the Indian Air Force at afcat.cdac.in. Click on the ‘candidate login’ button and enter the respective email ID and password. The authority advises students to verify their name, date of birth, gender, Aadhar number, photograph, and signature on the final admit card.

Candidates should take a hard copy of their AFCAT 2025 hall ticket to the exam centre. The AFCAT scores will be used for recruitment of group A gazetted officers in the Flying Branch and the Ground Branch (both technical and non-technical roles). The Flying Branch has two open vacancies for women and one vacancy for men. For ground duties, there are 221 vacancies available for men, and 60 open positions for women applicants.

AFCAT 2025: Testing

Candidates who are selected in AFCAT 2025 will be asked to report to one of the Air Force Selection Boards located in Dehradun, Varanasi, Gandhinagar or Mysuru. Two stages of testing will be conducted. Those who qualify stage 1 will be able to proceed to stage 2 of the testing process.

Stage 1 will comprise a screening test. It will include an ‘officer intelligence rating test’ and a ‘picture perception and discussion test’. Stage 1 disqualified candidates will be sent back. Stage 2 will be conducted over a period of four to five days. It will consist of the following tests:

• Written tests conducted by a psychologist
• Group tests: Interactive indoor and outdoor activities, which are a combination of mental and physical work
• A personal conversation with an interviewing officer

Candidates who have applied for the Flying Branch and have been recommended will be given a Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test.
