AILET 2025 exam guidelines

  • Candidates should arrive at the Test Centre at least 1.5 hours before the exam to find their seating arrangement and avoid overcrowding near the entrance.

  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 2:15 PM, which is 15 minutes after the test begins.

  • Only the following items are permitted inside the exam hall:

    • Blue or black ballpoint pen
    • Admit card
    • A valid photo ID and photographs
    • Transparent water bottle
  • Candidates should not open the sealed envelope containing the Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet before 2 pm.

  • For each question, candidates must shade the circle corresponding to their chosen answer completely. Incomplete shading will result in no marks. Only one answer should be shaded per question—multiple responses will be marked incorrect.

  • The AILET Entrance Test follows a marking scheme where candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

  • The Admit Card is provisional and subject to eligibility verification of the candidates.

  • All answers must be marked on the OMR Response Sheet. Candidates should carefully read the instructions for marking answers and other required details on the sheet.

  • Since the OMR sheet is carbonized, candidates should tear off the second page (carbon copy) and keep it with them, along with the used Question Booklet. The original OMR sheet (first page) must be submitted to the invigilator at the end of the test.
