The Amazon scholarship for girls includes Rs 2 lakh over 4 years, a laptop, and career opportunities.

Amazon India announced 500 new tech scholarships for girls from underprivileged backgrounds on the graduation day of its first cohort of the Amazon Future Engineer (AFE) scholarship programme. The programme supports female engineering students from low-income families, promoting equal gender opportunities in India.
Amazon has collaborated with the Foundation for Excellence (FFE) to offer Amazon Scholarships based on academic merit, financial need, and leadership potential. Each scholar will receive financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for four years (Rs 50,000 per year) and a laptop.
The Amazon scholarship programme includes specialised training via technical bootcamps to bridge any skill gaps, paid Amazon internships, and career mentorship from professional engineers.

Applications for the Amazon scholarship are open on the official website, www.amazonfutureengineer.in. Women in computer science and related fields can apply for the 2025-29 cycle by November 30, 2025. While applications from all engineering fields are accepted, the following subjects will be given preference:
Speaking about the Amazon tech scholarship, Prateek Agarwal, AFE lead, commented, “Seeing these scholars - many of whom are first-generation college graduates from tier-2 and tier-3 cities like Latur in Maharashtra and Chaibasa in Jharkhand - transform into confident tech professionals demonstrates the impact of providing equal opportunities in education and career development.”
According to an official press statement, over 80% of the first batch of scholars have secured job offers at Fortune 500 companies, with many of them joining Amazon’s engineering teams. The AFE scholarship programme has awarded 1,700 scholarships since 2022, with the scholars completing internships in seven technical job roles.
