Azim Premji University invites applications for 2026 UG, PG programmes; apply by November 14

Azim Premji University has opened admissions for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2026 across its campuses in Bengaluru and Bhopal. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form through the official website at azimpremjiuniversity.edu.in.

The University offers undergraduate programmes in sciences, humanities, and social sciences, and postgraduate programmes in education, development, economics, health, and sustainability.

For Azim Premji University undergraduate admissions, candidates will have to submit their applications by November 14, 2025. The National Entrance Test will be conducted on December 14, 2025, followed by personal interviews from January 5 to 9, 2026. Classes for the selected students will begin in July 2026.

Azim Premji University Admission: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for Azim Premji University UG programme are given below.

  • Age Limit: Candidates should not be above 21 years of age as on July 31, 2026. In exceptional cases, candidates older than 21 years may also be considered.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed or be pursuing Grade 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board in India or abroad, such as ISC, CBSE, State Boards, NIOS, IB, or Cambridge International A Levels. Proof of successful completion should be submitted at the time of joining.
  • For IB Students: A minimum of 24 credits is required, with passes in at least three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three subjects at Standard Level (SL).
  • For Cambridge International A Level Students: A minimum of three subjects passed is required to qualify for admission.

Curriculum and learning approach

The institution states that its programmes aim to combine academic learning with field-based experience across various disciplines. The curriculum includes classroom teaching, research work, and community engagement to connect theory with practice.
