NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will announce the round 2 seat allotment result today, August 22 for admission to undergraduate programmes. Candidates who participated in the counselling process will be able to check the BHU UG round 2 seat allotment result 2024 through the official website, bhu.ac.in.
As per the schedule, BHU UG seat allotment result 2024 will be announced at 6 pm. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the BHU UG round 2 seat allotment result 2024
BHU UG seat allotment result 2024 will be based on candidates' CUET scores, merit ranks, submitted preferences, category, and applicable quotas, including reserved and special quotas like sports and ECA.
BHU UG 2024 seat acceptance fee till August 25
Shortlisted candidates who will be allotted seats after BHU UG round 2 seat allotment 2024 must confirm their admission by paying fee till August 25. The BHU UG 2024 seat acceptance payment can be paid in online mode through debit, credit, UPI or net banking.
If the payment is not made by the deadline, the seat allotment will be cancelled, and the candidate will not be considered for future rounds.
BHU UG Counselling 2024: Post allotment
- Accept the Allotment: If you're satisfied with the allotted seat, accept the allotment online within the specified deadline.

Pay the Admission Fee: After accepting the seat, proceed to pay the required admission fee to confirm your seat. Ensure you make the payment within the given deadline.

Document Verification: Prepare the necessary documents for verification. These usually include your allotment letter, original certificates, and other required documents.

Report to the University: Depending on the instructions, either visit the university in person or complete the online reporting process.

Wait for Further Instructions: After completing the above steps, wait for any additional instructions from BHU, such as orientation schedules or commencement of classes.
In case the candidate is not satisfied with the allotment, you can choose to participate in further rounds, if applicable.
BHU UG Counselling 2024: Documents required
Candidates will have to carry the the following documents for BHU UG document verification 2024 round.
- Score card of CUET
- Certificate of Class 10
- Mark sheet of Class 10
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- SC, ST, OBC certificate on the basis of reserved quota
- Transfer or migration certificate (should be carried in case of university except BHU)
- Sports category certificate for candidates from sports quota.
- Certificate issued by central registry for sons, daughters of permanent employees re employed, retired, deceased employees of Banaras Hindu University.
