NEW DELHI: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced that the Bihar ITICAT 2024 mop-up round of counselling will commence from September 21, 2024. This round is aimed at filling the remaining vacant seats in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state. The Bihar ITICAT 2024 counselling will be held offline at the BCECEB Board of IAS Sangh Bhawan, located near Patna Airport.

Candidates who have not secured a seat in the previous counselling rounds will have the opportunity to participate in this mop-up round. This round provides a crucial chance for those who were unable to get admission earlier to compete for the remaining available seats. Candidates who are eligible and interested in this round should ensure they meet the requirements and complete the necessary documentation before attending.
To take part in the mop-up round, candidates must bring all required documents for verification, including their ITICAT 2024 rank card, admit card, educational certificates, and valid identification proof. The counselling will be conducted in an offline mode, and seats will be allotted on a merit basis according to the ranks secured in the ITICAT 2024 examination.
The mop-up round serves as the final opportunity for candidates to secure admission into ITI programs for the 2024 academic session. As the previous rounds have concluded, this round is anticipated to be highly competitive. It is crucial for candidates to be prepared with all necessary documents and stay updated with any announcements from the BCECEB regarding the process.
Bihar ITICAT 2024 Counselling: Required Documents
Candidates attending the mop-up round counselling must bring the following original documents along with two self-attested photocopies:
- ITICAT 2024 original admit card
- Original mark sheet and provisional certificate of Matriculation or equivalent examination
- Original caste certificate (if applicable)
- Original residential certificate
- Character certificate
- Certificate of Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Ex-Serviceman, or Disability Quota (DQ), if applicable
- Six passport-sized photographs (same as those used in ITICAT-2024)
- Aadhar card copy
- Printout of the Online Filled Application Form (Part-A & Part-B)
- Verification slip in two copies, and a biometric form in one copy
