BITS Law School invites applications for BA LLB, BBA LLB programmes

BITS Law School Mumbai has invited applications for the BITS 5-year law programmes for the academic year 2026. Candidates can now apply for BITS Law Admission 2026 on the official website, bitslawschool.edu.in.

BITS Law School offers admissions to 5-year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB Hons) and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA LLB Hons) programmes.

Students can choose from four high-demand specialisations, including Technology and Media Law, Corporate and Financial Law, Entertainment and Sports Law, and Alternate Dispute Resolution and Mediation.

“The programmes are approved by the Bar Council of India and designed to nurture forward-thinking legal professionals through a blend of interdisciplinary learning, global academic partnerships, robust mentorship, and future-focused legal training,” the official BITS Law School statement read.

The founding dean of BITS Law School, Ashish Bharadwaj, said: “At BITS Law School, we see ourselves as more than a law school; we are building a learning ecosystem that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and intellectual freedom. The programme has five pillars that emphasise academic excellence, professional readiness, critical writing, mentorship, and personalised academic support,”

BITS LLB Admission 2026

Candidates will be offered admission to law programmes based on evaluation of academic performance (minimum 45% in Class 12), scores from recognised law entrance exams such as CLAT, AILET, SLAT, MHCET Law, LNAT, or BITSLAT. Furthermore, candidates will also be evaluated based on their extracurricular achievements, communication skills, and personal interview performance.

BITSLAT, the School’s optional admission test, is a 1-hour online, proctored assessment that evaluates reasoning ability, verbal skills, attention to detail, and domain knowledge through multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Students awaiting their Class 12 or entrance exam results can also apply, with admission based on submission of final scores.

BITSLAW also offers various prestigious scholarships, such as GD Birla, KK Birla, and Sarala Birla Scholarships for Legal Studies, which grant partial to full tuition waivers. The scholarship support is available for academically meritorious students, including those from financially disadvantaged families, and students from diverse backgrounds, to ensure opportunities for women and underrepresented communities.
