NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) prelims 2024 exam. As per the reports, the BPSC CCE 70th prelims 2024, which was initially scheduled for November 17, will now take place between December 13 and 14. Candidates can apply for BPSC 70th Civil Service Exam 2024 till October 18, 2024.
The commission has informed all district magistrates through a letter that the examination has been postponed due to "unavoidable reasons." They highlighted the importance of establishing enough examination centers at the district level to accommodate the anticipated large number of candidates, estimated to range between 700,000 and 800,000.
The BPSC CCE 70th prelims 2024 application window will remain active on the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. The BPSC CCE 2024 exam aims to fill a total of 1,957 vacancies across several Bihar government ministries.

Applicants for the BPSC 70th CCE must have a graduate degree in any subject. Apart from this, the minimum age for applicants is from 20 to 22 years. The maximum age limit for General category applicants is 37 years old, 40 for Backward and Extremely Backward Classes, and 42 for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
