Download NowThe Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the list of students who feature in the top 20th percentile of the Bihar board intermediate annual exam, 2025. Students who find their names in the list are eligible to apply for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students.
Students who feature in the top 20th percentile of the Bihar board Class 12 exam have been uploaded on the board’s official website at secondary.biharboardonline.com. Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the national scholarship portal at scholarship.gov.in
The notice further states that while applying for the scholarship, students should enter their roll code and roll number in the specified format — for example, roll code 11066 and roll number 25010013. Applicants will also have to meet the other conditions laid down by the scholarship portal.
As per the official notice, the total annual income of the applicant’s parents or guardians should not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh. Heads of recognised institutions offering undergraduate and technical programmes have been asked to inform eligible students and create awareness about the scheme by displaying the notice on campus notice boards and through other means.
“Principals of recognised institutions offering +2, undergraduate and technical education are directed to inform students about the scheme and create awareness by displaying a copy of this notice on the notice board of their respective institutions. Additionally, they should use pamphlets and local means to ensure that this information reaches students, enabling maximum participation from Bihar,” the notice said.

The board has further clarified that its role is limited to providing information. The disbursal of the scholarship amount is handled by the Government of India under the Direct Benefit Transfer system and credited directly to the beneficiary’s account. Any claims related to payment will not be entertained by the board. Details regarding the last date for submission of applications will be made available on the board’s website.
