CAT 2025: IIM B work experience analysis
The last PGP batch saw an increase in the number of students with very little experience (1-12 months), especially males, possibly due to a rise in recruitment or new hirings.
Lesser females with zero experience entered the PG programme while more inexperienced males secured seats, suggesting that women are moving into roles requiring some work experience.
A slight decline was noted in the experienced category (25-36), particularly for males, pointing towards restructuring of workforce or downsizing of experienced employees.
