The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the final date sheet for Class 10 board exams 2026. Following backlash from students over lack of gaps in CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2026, the board has revised the exam dates for several subjects to ensure that students have sufficient time for preparation.

According to the CBSE final date sheet, Class 10 board exams 2026 will be conducted from February 17 to March 10 now.
In a major revision, home science paper has been moved from February 26 to February 18 while language papers have been rescheduled for February 23 replacing the French paper which will now be held on March 10.

Giving more time to students appearing for the science subject, CBSE has scheduled minor papers for February 24, one day before the exam.
Students had raised complaints about lack of enough preparation time in the tentative CBSE date sheet 2026. They demanded more gap for at least science and French subjects.
