CBSE 12th result 2025 sees more in compartment, JNVs on top, perfect-scorers in minor subjects

Attempt NowNEW DELHI: The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) performed the best amongst the schools and recorded 99.29% in CBSE Class 12 results 2025 while the independent schools scored low. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE 12th result 2025 on May 13 on the official website, results.cbse.nic.in.

A total of 24,867 candidates scored 95% and above in Class 12 board exams 2025 which also saw 5,280 Children With Special Needs (CWSN) qualifying.
Slightly more candidates as compared to last year, 1,29,095, have been placed in the compartment category with maximum from Prayagaraj region followed by Noida. Such students will get an opportunity to appear for CBSE Class 12th compartment exams 2025 .
Schools in some regions also achieved 100% pass rate this year. The pass percentage of students in foreign schools affiliated to CBSE declined slightly from 95.84% last year to 95.01%.
In an interesting event, a huge number of students scored 100 marks in minor subjects in CBSE 12th result 2025 — 20,491 in painting subject, 4,291 in Hind music vocal, and 3,011 in psychology.
