As per CBSE statistics, a total of 18.59 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board exam. Among them, 10,27,552 were male students, and 8,31,999 were female students.
The CBSE Class 12 exams were held across 7,574 centres nationwide. Based on previous years’ trends, the CBSE 12th result 2026 is expected to be announced on or before May 13.

Follow the instructions below to check their CBSE 12th 2026 results on DigiLocker
- Visit the official Digilocker website, results.digilocker.gov.in
- Log in or sign up using your valid mobile number or Aadhaar-linked account.
- If you are new to Digilocker, first create an account by signing up.
- Visit the “Education section” and click on it.
- Go to 'issued Documents' and click on 'CBSE 12th marksheet 2026.'
- Select “CBSE Class 12 Marksheet 2026”
- Enter login details such as roll number and year.
- Click on get document or view result.
- CBSE results for Class 12 will appear on the screen.
- Download and keep it safe for future use.
According to CBSE guidelines, to pass the CBSE Class 12 exams 2026, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject, including theory, practicals, and internal assessments. For subjects with practicals, students must score 33% separately in both theory and practical/internal assessments.
