Students can download the CBSE Class 12 result 2026 on the official website, cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in, using their roll number. Additionally, CBSE school-wise results are sent directly to the respective schools via email for administrative access. More than 18.59 lakh students appeared for the 12th board exam, of whom 10,27,552 were male, while 8,31,999 were female students.

CBSE board Class 12 exams were conducted from February 17 to April 9 across the country. Students must score atleast 33% marks in each subject, including theory and practicals, and internal assessments.

The steps to download CBSE 12th result 2026 using the roll number are given below.
- Visit the official website, cbseresults.nic.in.
- Click on ‘CBSE results 2026 Class 12’ link.
- Enter the student’s roll number, school number, and admit card ID
- Click the submit button.
- CBSE results 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the results roll number-wise and keep them safe for future reference.
To reduce the burden and time involved in evaluating board exam answer sheets, the CBSE has introduced the On-Screen Marking System (OSM) this year. The new system is aimed at expanding digital evaluation for Class 12 board examinations from 2026 onward.
