Attempt NowNEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Class 10, 12 board exams 2025 from February 15 for more than 45 lakh students. Students appearing for the CBSE board exam 2025 can take a look at CBSE previous years’ question papers to get an idea of the exam pattern, marking scheme, and duration.

According to the CBSE board exam 2025 pattern, the papers for major subjects will be held for a total of 80 marks and candidates will get three hours to write the test. The board earlier issued subject-wise marks distribution for both the classes.
CBSE admit card 2025 is available for regular and private students of Classes 10, 12 at Pariksha Sangam portal. Regular candidates can collect their CBSE admit cards from schools while private students can download the hall tickets using their application or roll number.
CBSE 10th board exams 2025 will continue till March 18 while CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 will end on April 4, as per CBSE date sheet 2025 . The annual theory exams will commence from 10:30 am and there are different exam timings for different subjects.

How to download CBSE previous year question papers?
Here’s how students can download and check the CBSE PYQ:
- Go to the official website, cbse.gov.in
- Click on the question paper tab
- Students will see question papers for compartment exam, regular exam for various years
- Click on ‘question papers for examination’ for a specific year
- Now, select either Class X or Class XII
- Subject-wise question paper pdfs will be displayed
- Download the CBSE question paper pdf zip file and save it
The board has allowed Class 10, 12 students studying at disaffiliated schools to appear for CBSE board exam 2025 from the same school. In a surprise inspection of schools across Delhi and Rajasthan, the board found violation of bye-affiliation norms and issued show-cause notices to as many as 27 schools.
CBSE earlier clarified that there are no changes in examination and the internal assessment. The board denied any reduction in CBSE Class 10, 12 syllabus 2025 and the debunked reports claiming open book exams.
