Recalling the facilities provided to the Children with Special Needs (CWSN) during board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked schools to submit the details of such candidates for CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2026. The online portal to fill the details and upload the required documents will open from September 9 to 22.

Schools can make the requests through the Pariksha Sangam web portal, using their login ID and password. The portal will display a list of all CWSN students as per the data filled in the List of Candidates (LOC) for board exams , along with the facilities allowed to each category of students based on their disability.

“If the students wish to avail any of the facilities, the same is to be selected by the school so that details would be automatically made available in the admit card itself,” the board said. Accordingly, the CBSE board examination centres will make the necessary arrangements for all such candidates, ensuring that no such student faces any kind of inconvenience during CBSE Board exams 2026 .

The board will not cater to any such request after the provided timeline and in offline mode. Clarifying this, CBSE Board asked schools to strictly follow the schedule.

Schools have been urged to read the CWSN manual carefully and follow the outlined process. The CBSE has also emphasized that no extension of the deadline will be granted and no candidate will be allowed to be added under the special category after the last date is over.

Reminding that CBSE Class 10 board exams 2026 will be held twice, the board deemed it mandatory for the schools to follow all the instructions and the schedule for a smooth conduct of exams.
