Class 12 Result 2026: CBSE releases Class 12 board results; marksheets available on DigiLocker, UMANG and SMS services

Enrol NowThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 Results 2026 for all streams including science, arts and commerce today, May 13. Students who appeared for the senior secondary board examinations can now access and download their scorecards through the official CBSE websites cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in .
Apart from the official websites students can check their CBSE class 12 results on various digital platforms like DigiLocker, UMANG app and through sms services as well.
This year, over 18.59 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 board examinations conducted for 120 subjects between February 17 and April 10 across 7,574 examination centres in India and abroad. Among the total candidates, 10,27,552 were boys while 8,31,999 were girls.
CBSE evaluated answer sheets using its On-Screen Marking (OSM) system , a digital assessment method in which scanned copies of answer sheets are checked online instead of through conventional manual evaluation.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Steps to check
Students can follow the below steps to check their CBSE class 12 results 2026 online;
- Visit the official CBSE websites such as cbse.gov.in or the CBSE results portal.
- On the homepage, click on the link for “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2026.”
- Enter the required credentials, including roll number, school number, and admit card ID.
- Submit the details to access the result on the screen.
- Download and print the provisional marksheet for future reference.
Students can also check their CBSE Class 12 Results 2026 through SMS if the official websites experience heavy traffic. To access the result via SMS, candidates need to type “CBSE12” followed by their roll number, school number, and admit card ID, and send the message to 7738299899.
