CBSE Date Sheet 2025 Live: CBSE Class 10, 12 board exam timetable soon at cbse.gov.in; practical dates

CBSE school principals confirm that there has been no reduction in the Class 10 and 12 syllabus for the 2025 board exams. Additionally, no official communication has been received regarding a 15% syllabus reduction or a 40% internal assessment weightage for the exams scheduled to begin in February 2025.

The CBSE has issued the Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025 sample papers. Students can access the CBSE 20925 Class 10, 12 sample papers for all subject at cbseacademic.nic.in.

CBSE 2025 Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will be conducted at 8,000 schools in India and 26 other countries abroad.  

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a reminder to schools about the attendance requirements for students appearing in the upcoming CBSE 2025 board exams. As per the board's examination bye-laws, students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for the exams.

The CBSE 2025 question papers are expected to be distributed at 10:15 am and the exam will begin at 10: 30 am (as per past trends). 

CBSE is likely to conduct the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2025 between February 15 and March 13.

The official website to access CBSE 2025 date sheet is cbse.gov.in. 

For winter-bound schools, CBSE practical exams will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024, as these schools will be closed in January 2025. For other schools, practical exams will begin on January 1, 2025.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 date sheet 2025 will be issued soon on CBSE's official website, cbse.gov.in. Students will be able to download the CBSE date sheet 2025 in PDF format.

To help schools conduct the CBSE board exams and practical exams for 2025 smoothly, the board has provided a comprehensive list of Class 10 and Class 12 subjects with the following details:

• Class
• Subject code
• Subject name
• Maximum marks for the theory exam
• Maximum marks for the practical exam
• Maximum marks for project assessment
• Maximum marks for internal assessment
• Appointment of an external examiner for practical or project assessment
• Provision of a practical answer book by the board
• Type of answer book to be used in theory exams

The passing criteria for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are as follows:

• Theory Exam: Students must score a minimum of 33% in the theory examination of each subject.
• Practical/Project/Internal Assessment: Students must secure at least 33% in the practicals, projects, or internal assessments, if applicable.
• Overall Marks: To pass a subject, students need to achieve a combined total of 33% in both the theory and practical components (where applicable).

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the CBSE Class 10 date sheet for 2025 soon. The exams are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. The complete subject-wise CBSE Class 10 exam date sheet will be available on cbse.gov.in.

CBSE has announced the schedule for practical exams and internal assessments for Classes 10 and 12. For winter-bound schools, CBSE practical exams will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024, as these schools will be closed in January 2025. For other schools, practical exams will begin on January 1, 2025.

The CBSE Class 10th and 12th question papers are expected to be distributed at 10:15 am. Students will have 15 minutes to read the paper before the exam writing begins at 10:30 am.
