CEED, UCEED 2024 registration date extended till November 6; participating institutes

Eligible candidates can register for Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED 2024) and (CEED 2024) on the official websites, ceed.iitb.ac.in and uceed.iitb.ac.in.

Candidates will be able to register for the exams with payment of late fee from November 7 to 13. Applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,900 as application fee. After November 6, they will have to pay an additional Rs 1,900 as late fee.
The admit card for UCEED and CEED will be released on January 5, 2025. The CEED 2024 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM on January 25, 2024 while UCEED will be held on January 21, 204. The result of CEED 2024 will be out on March 6, 2024.
UCEED eligibility criteria
UCEED is being held for admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur. Students who have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, or appearing in 2024, in any stream are eligible to appear for UCEED 2024.
CEED participating institutions
CEED 2024 will be held for admission to postgraduate design programmes in IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. The scores will also be shared with other institutes, including World University of Design Sonepat, RV University Bengaluru and Delhi Technological University.

CEED 2024 examination will have two parts– Part A and Part B. Part A will have MCQ, MSQ and NAT questions while Part 2 will have five questions. In the final CEED score, Part A will have 25% weightage while 75% weightage will be awarded to Part B. Candidates will have to attempt questions from both the parts.
