NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared Class 10, 12 revaluation and retotaling results 2024 today, June 24. Students who applied for revaluation of their answers and recalculation of marks in CGBSE 10th, 12th board exams 2024 can check their results on the official website, cgbse.nic.in.
Candidates will need their roll number to download the Class 10, 12 scorecards. Students who were not satisfied with their Chhattisgarh board results 2024 were given the opportunity to apply for revaluation and retotaling within 15 days of the declaration of result.
The board had earlier informed that under the revaluation process, the answer book will be evaluated by two evaluators and only if the average of the marks given by both the evaluators increases by 10 percent or more from the previously obtained marks, the increase in marks will be considered. In case of shortage of marks in revaluation, marks will not be reduced and thus, the previous marks will remain the same.
Regarding retotaling, CGBSE clarified that both increase and decrease in marks of the candidates will be accepted and thus increase or decrease of even one mark will be considered.
After supplementary or revaluation of failed candidates, if there is an increase of 10 percent or more marks in any subject, and there is no change in the result, then the increase in marks will not be accepted and new marksheet will not be provided to such candidates, it stated.

Further, revised marks list will be issued if the increase or decrease in marks is accepted under retotaling or re-evaluation. The board will send the revised mark list to the concerned school in case of regular candidates and to the forwarding institution in case of self-study candidates. The candidate will be able to get the revised marksheet signed by the principal of the institution by submitting the old marksheet in the concerned institution.
The board will not refund the fee deposited for recalculation or revaluation under any circumstances.
