Chhattisgarh NMMS 2025 result out on cgbse.nic.in; 2,246 students selected

CG NMMS Result 2025: A total of 32,825 students registered for the scholarship exam. Of these, 31,016 appeared for the exam, and 13,443 declared pass.
The Chhattisgarh department of school education and literacy has announced the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMSS) result 2025 for Class 8 students today, May 19. A total of 13,443 students declared pass in the CG NMMS result 2025, out of which 2,246 students qualify for the scholarship. Students can check their CG NMMS result 2025 through the official website at cgbse.nic.in.

A total of 32,825 students registered for the scholarship exam 2025, out of these 31,016 students appeared. Of these, some students were declared ineligible due to the absence of required documents or other criteria, while the remaining were found eligible for the scholarship process.
The scholarship quota was distributed across 28 districts in the state, with 268 seats reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 686 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 1,292 for the unreserved (UR) category. Against this allocation, 231 students were selected under SC, 449 under ST, and 1,104 under UR during the initial round.
As per the official notice, following the first round of selections, some seats remained vacant across categories. From the remaining 462 eligible candidates, 37 from SC, 237 from ST, and 188 from UR were selected to fill the unoccupied slots. Students who are selected will receive financial support of Rs 12,000 per year to help with their academic studies.
