According to the CISCE state-wise results 2025, the top performing states based on pass percentage in ICSE Class 10 is Tamil Nadu at 99.95%, followed by Kerala and Maharashtra at 99.94% and 99.90% respectively. In ISC Class 12 result 2025, Kerala recorded a perfect 100%. The second and third best performers were Tamil Nadu with 99.97% and Maharashtra at 99.81%.
While most states saw higher participation of boys in ICSE, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh had a slightly higher number of girls participation.
The result data indicate a widespread adoption of CISCE curriculum in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, which is home to 457 ICSE and 377 ISC, and 435 ICSE and 333 ISC schools respectively. Despite the widespread adoption, these two states recorded low pass percentage- though still high - compared to other states. Since these states also cater to a large number of students, the overall pass percentage significantly impacts the performance of the board.
