96.45% candidates who registered for the exam had appeared. A student from Rajasthan topped CLAT UG 2024 exam by obtaining a perfect 100 percentile and CLAT PG 2024 exam topper from Delhi scored 99.99 percentile.
General category candidates will have to pay Rs 30,000 for CLAT counselling and the SC, ST, OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 20,000 as registration fee. CLAT result 2024 was declared on December 10.
CLAT 2024 counselling dates
Here’s the complete schedule for CLAT counselling 2024. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission. They will have three options after the seat allotment - freeze, float and exit.
Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotment will have to freeze the option and pay the confirmation fee to accept the allotment. Those who wish to get higher preference in the next round will have to choose the option float and those who are not satisfied with the allotment and do not wish to participate in the counselling process can opt exit option.

“If a candidate has chosen a float or freeze option, and then subsequently chooses to Exit or fails to complete their admission at the chosen NLU by paying their fees then their Counselling Registration Fee will be refunded in full if the Exit option is exercised before 1:00 P.M. on May 23, 2024, or after a deduction of Rs 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) if exercised after 1:00 PM on May 23, 2024,” the consortium said.
