NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities has issued a notification regarding the release of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 admit cards. According to the official notice, the CLAT 2025 admit card will be issued only on or after November 15, 2024. Candidates will be able to download the CLAT 2025 admit card through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

"Candidates are advised to strictly refer to the official website at www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in for all official information regarding the admissions process and examination-related updates", the official notification read.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the CLAT 2025 admit card.

The examination authority also informed the candidates that certain websites, blogs, social media are posting false and unauthorised news about the CLAT admission process and admit card and that the Consortium of NLUs is not responsible for any information about the CLAT published on third-party websites or social media handles.

CLAT 2025 exam date

CLAT 2025 will be held offline on December 1, 2024 at various exam centres across the country. The examination will be held in a single shift, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

CLAT exam is conducted for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 24 National Law Universities in India

CLAT 2025 eligibility criteria

For CLAT 2025 eligibility, here are the details for the undergraduate and postgraduatelaw courses:

1. Undergraduate Course (5-year Integrated LLB Program):

  • General Category: Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in their Class 12 or equivalent examination.
  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Candidates must have secured at least 40% marks in their Class 12 or equivalent examination.

2. Postgraduate Course (1-year LLM Program):

  • General Category: Candidates must have completed their LLB or equivalent degree with at least 50% marks.
  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Candidates must have completed their LLB or equivalent degree with at least 45% marks.
