The next CLAT hearing in the Supreme Court is scheduled for May 5.

The apex court on Wednesday stayed the Delhi High Court order passed on April 23, following a Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by a candidate in Supreme Court who secured All India Rank 22 (AIR 22). In light of this, the Consortium has paused the publication of the revised CLAT UG 2025 merit list.
“At the Consortium’s request, the Hon’ble Supreme Court has further been pleased to direct that the candidates who had challenged the CLAT results before the Delhi High Court be issued dasti (legal) notice of the proceedings now commenced before the Supreme Court, so that the case be heard and decided expeditiously,” the official notification stated.
The Delhi High Court had ordered the Consortium of NLUs to revise the results after identifying four errors in the question paper, including one in the English passage. However, the revision applied only to CLAT UG question sets B, C, and D.
The latest plea has been filed by a CLAT topper, arguing that the revision would not benefit candidates who attempted Set A. To ensure a swift resolution, candidates who had participated in the Delhi High Court proceedings have been asked to make arrangements for their representation before the Supreme Court on May 5.
According to the Supreme Court’s official website, the computer-generated hearing date is listed as May 13. However, the Consortium of NLUs has confirmed that the next hearing will take place on May 5.
