The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has started the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 registration process today, August 3. Students can now apply for CLAT 2027 UG or PG on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2027 UG and PG entrance exam on December 6 from 2 pm to 4 pm across the country.

As per previous year trends, the CLAT 2027 admit card will be made accessible to students two weeks before the exam date. The last date for CLAT registration 2027 is October 31.
CLAT 2026 will be held for two hours in computer-based test (CBT) mode, comprising 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The CLAT 2027 paper will comprise five sections: English language, Current affairs and general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques.
The steps to apply for the CLAT 2027 UG and PG law entrance exam are given below.
To apply for CLAT 2027, general category students will have to pay Rs 4,000, while others have to pay Rs 3,500. There’s no change in the CLAT 2027 exam pattern and syllabus.

According to the CLAT Consortium, the CLAT 2027 exam will be administered in offline (OMR-based) mode with 120 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will get +1 mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response.

As per the guidelines, the students must complete the CLAT 2026 application form and pay the fees before the last date to avoid any hassle. Any incomplete CLAT application forms shall not be accepted. Educational Qualification: Class 12th or equivalent for the UG entrance exam and LLB graduation for PG.
