The CLAT 2025 exam will be conducted for admissions to the five-year bachelor of legislative law (LLB) and master of laws (LLM) programs at participating national law universities (NLUs).

 The Consortium of NLUs has issued the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 admit card today, November 15. Eligible candidates can download the admit card through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 

"Admit Cards for UG and PG CLAT 2025 will be available for registered candidates to download from their application portal from November 15, 2024 – 10.30 AM to December 01, 2024 - 01:30 pm," the official notice read.

In this section of the UG-CLAT 2025, you will be provided passages of about 450 words each. These passages will be derived from contemporary or historically significant fiction and non-fiction writing, and would be of a standard that a 12th standard student may be able to read in about 5-7 minutes.

Each passage will be followed by a series of questions that will require you to demonstrate your comprehension and language skills, including your abilities to:

Read and comprehend the main point discussed in the passage, as well as any arguments and viewpoints discussed or set out in the passage;

• Draw inferences and conclusions based on the passage;
• Summarise the passage;
• Compare and contrast the different arguments or viewpoints set out in the passage; and
• Understand the meaning of various words and phrases in the context that they are used in the passage.

In case of a tie between candidates with equal marks in the CLAT 2025, the tie will be resolved in the following order:

• Higher marks in the Legal Aptitude section of the CLAT 2025 exam.
• Higher age.
• Computerised draw of lots.

• Quantitative Techniques: This section will include short sets of facts or propositions, or other textual representations of numerical information, followed by a series of questions. Candidates will need to derive information from the passages or questions and apply mathematical operations to the information provided.

According to the CLAT 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will include 120 multiple-choice questions for a total of 120 marks. The test duration is two hours, with the paper divided into five sections: English language, current affairs, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques.

For CLAT 2025 eligibility, the requirements for postgraduate law courses are as follows:

• General category: Candidates must have completed their LLB or equivalent degree with at least 50% marks.
• SC, ST, PwD category: Candidates must have completed their LLB or equivalent degree with at least 45% marks.

For CLAT 2025 eligibility, the requirements for undergraduate law courses are as follows:
