The Kerala Government Medical College Teachers’ Association (KGMCTA) has indicated it may stop teaching and outpatient (OP) services if the demands are not addressed.

The fellowship will provide a monthly fellowship of Rs 75,000, while participating industries will contribute a minimum of Rs 25,000 per month. This will be in addition to the regular salary that the fellows will continue to receive from their institutions.

The programme will include an annual national-level competition that invites participants to submit research-based essays of at least 5,000 words.
