JNUTA: The Delhi police has detained 28 students, including women, who were protesting after ABVP members allegedly assaulted the JNU student’s union president.

The students' organisations-AISA and SFI- have accused Delhi Police of a “brutal assault” on students, while the police claimed that the protesters broke-passed the barricades and injured personnel.
