The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela has announced the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) special round counselling schedule 2025. Candidates can now download the CSAB, DASA special round brochure available on the official website, csab.nic.in. The round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on August 9, as per the schedule.
Candidates interested in participating in both DASA 2025 and CSAB-Special 2025 counselling need to register only once through the common login portal on csab.nic.in.
Interested candidates applying for CSAB special round 2025 have to pay CSAB special round enrolment fee (SREF) of Rs 40,000 for General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates and Rs 19,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. It includes Institute Admission Fee- I (IAF-I) and a non-refundable special round processing fee (SRPF) of Rs 5,000. Candidates who have already paid the SAF in JoSAA counselling 2025, the balance of SAF, excluding the JoSAA charges, will be adjusted as part of SREF.
Candidates are required to pay only the difference amount at the time of registration. In addition to this fee, candidates whose categories were changed during the online document verification in JoSAA 2025 and have not confirmed their seats by paying PAF are required to pay Rs 15,000, which is the difference of SAF in JoSAA for General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL and SC, ST, and wD candidates.
