CSIR NET Result 2024: JRF cut-off spikes for mathematical science while assistant professor cut-offs goes up for life science and mathematical sciences.

NEW DELHI: The Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) cut-off 2024 has decreased for all subjects except mathematical science and life science, across all categories. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the CSIR NET June 2024 cut-off on the official website, csirhrdg.res.in.
In category 1 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the NTA CSIR NET cut-off has increased for mathematical science subject whereas the CSIR UGC NET cut-off for assistant professor has gone up for mathematical science as well as life science subjects.
The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) recently released category-wise CSIR NET June 2024 results. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared CSIR UGC NET results 2024 on September 13. A total of 1,63,529 candidates appeared for the June session exam.
The subject-wise CSIR NET cut-off 2024 for category 1 of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) across all categories are as follows:

For category 3 of PhD admissions, the CSIR HRDG said that the eligibility for admission to PhD is as per UGC guidelines and subject to satisfying minimum benchmark of 33% for general, EWS and OBC categories and 25 % in respect of SC, ST and PwD categories.
“In the life science subject, the raw marks obtained have been normalized into NTA score/ percentile and results have been declared based on percentile cutoff as indicated,” the CSIR HRDG stated.
