NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the application correction window for Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 tomorrow, October 25. Successfully registered candidates will be able to make changes in CTET 2024 application form through the official website, ctet.nic.in. The CTET 2024 application correction window opened on October 21.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to modify the CTET 2024 application form. The CTET 2024 correction window offers applicants a one-time opportunity to rectify key details in their application form.
Changes are allowed in personal details like the candidate's name, and their parents' names, which should match the official documents to avoid any discrepancies during further processes.
Candidates can also edit critical exam-related options, including which paper they intend to sit for (Paper 1 or Paper 2). This is important, as Paper 1 qualifies candidates to teach grades 1-5, while Paper 2 is for grades 6-8. Furthermore, they can change the subject chosen for Paper 2, which tests knowledge in specific teaching domains, and adjust their selected languages for Language 1 or 2, ensuring these align with their expertise and preferences.

Corrections to postal addresses and the name of the institution from which they completed their BEd or Diploma in Elementary Education are also allowed, ensuring all information is accurate for the examination and certification process.
The CTET 2024 exam, originally set for December 15, has been rescheduled to December 14. However, the board has announced that if the candidate count in a particular city is high, the exam may also be conducted on December 15.
The exam will be held in two shifts: the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
