CBSE CTET Admit Card 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CTET admit card 2026 for the February session on the official website. Candidates will be able to download the CBSE CTET exam hall ticket at ctet.nic.in. To download their CTET 2026 admit card, candidates who filled out the application form can access the admit card using their login credentials, application number, and date of birth on the official website.

The CTET city intimation slip 2026 was released on January 23, 2026, on the official website. The CBSE CTET 2026 examination will be held on February 7 and 8, 2026. CTET Exam 2026: Reporting time

Candidates must report to the examination centre by 7:30 AM for Paper 2 (morning shift) and by 12:30 PM for Paper 1 (afternoon shift). Those reaching the centre after 9:30 AM for Paper 2 or after 2:30 PM for Paper 1 will be barred from appearing in the examination.

CTET exam 2026: Exam hall gate closure

For the CTET 2026 examination scheduled on February 7 and 8, 2026, candidates must note that exam centre gates will close exactly at the start time of each shift. Entry will not be allowed once the gates are shut, regardless of the reason for delay.

CTET 2026 Gate Closing Details

  • Morning Shift (Paper II – Classes 6 to 8):
    Exam begins and gates close at 9:30 AM; candidates are advised to report by 7:30 AM.

  • Afternoon Shift (Paper I – Classes 1 to 5):
    Exam begins and gates close at 2:30 PM; recommended reporting time is 12:30 PM.

Candidates should also be aware that at some centres, final document checks and seat allotment may start 15–30 minutes before the official gate closing time.

Candidates are advised to arrive at the examination centre around 90–120 minutes before the start of the exam to allow sufficient time for biometric authentication and security procedures.

CTET Exam 2026: Languages

The CTET 2026 examination is offered in 20 different Indian languages to accommodate candidates from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Although the core question paper is available in English and Hindi, candidates are required to choose two separate languages from the prescribed list for the Language I and Language II sections at the time of application.

CBSE CTET Admit Card 2026: Guidelines for PwBD and PwD candidates

Candidates can check the CBSE CTET 2026 Guidelines for PwBD and PwD candidates below:

  1. Candidates claiming to belong to the PwBD category should submit a copy of the certificate on the prescribed proforma and UDID card issued by the appropriate issuing authority as defined under section 2(r) of the RPWD Act 2016 to prove their claim.
  2. The scribe and/or compensatory time facility will be granted solely to those candidates with benchmark disability as defined under sections 2(r) and 2(s) of the RPWD Act 2016.
  3. The candidates with benchmark disabilities in the categories of blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected-BA), and cerebral palsy will be provided with a scribe facility if desired by the candidate.
  4. The scribe's qualification would be one class lower than the minimum qualification criteria of the post for which the examination is being held.
  5. PwD candidates will be given a 20-minute interaction session one hour before the start of the examination to meet the scribe.
  6. The candidates who are eligible for getting a scribe will be given Compensatory time of not less than 50 minutes per hour of the examination as per office memorandum F. No. 29-6/2019-DD-III dated 10th August 2022 issued by the Department ofEmpowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).
  7. A separate Question Paper in large font for Visually Impaired candidates, if they choose to use it.
  8. The differently-abled candidates will have to bring the disability certificate in the proper format provided by the Competent Authority at the examination centre to avail aboverelaxation(s).
