NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon issue the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) answer key 2024 for the December session exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download the CTET 2024 answer key through the official website at ctet.nic.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as roll number and date of birth to download the CTET answer key 2024. The board will issue the CTET provisional answer key 2024 first and candidates will get the opportunity to challenge it if they find any errors. After that, the CTET final answer key 2024 will be published.
The CTET December 2024 exam was held on December 14 in two shifts. Paper 2 exam was conducted in the first shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon and paper 2 took place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm in the second shift.
Candidates from the general category must achieve a minimum of 60% aggregate, which is equivalent to 90 out of 150 marks, to qualify for the CTET. Candidates from reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), are required to secure at least 55% aggregate, equating to a minimum of 82 out of 150 marks.
The CTET is conducted twice a year. CTET Paper 1 serves as the eligibility test for candidates aspiring to teach students of Class 1 to 5. CTET Paper 2 is the eligibility test for those seeking to teach students of Classes 6 to 8. Candidates aiming to qualify for teaching positions at both levels are required to appear in both papers.
