Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 today, March 22, 2025. Eligible and interested students who have not registered yet can fill CUET UG application form 2025 on the official website – cuet.nta.nic.in by 11:50 pm. The payment facility will be available till March 23.

CUET UG 2025 will be conducted from May 8 to June 1 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode for admission to central, state, private, and deemed universities.
304 universities are going to admit students to their undergraduate programmes through the CUET 2025, University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar recently said.
The University of Delhi has allowed students without mathematics to apply for BCom (Honours) through the exam. DU also clarified that it is mandatory for an aspirant to appear in CUET UG 2025 in those subjects in which they have passed or appeared in Class 12 for admissions.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has decided to use CUET UG 2025 scores for 25 programmes this year instead of last year’s 20.
Among the major changes introduced this year in CUET UG are CBT mode, less number of examination cities, fewer papers, and 50 compulsory questions.
NTA will open the CUET UG 2025 application correction window from March 24 to 26, allowing registered candidates to rectify errors or modify their details.
How to apply for CUET UG 2025?
Applicants can follow the steps given below to apply for CUET UG 2025:
- Visit the NTA CUET official website, cuet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the “Register” option on the homepage.
- Enter basic details to create registration number and password.
- Login using the credentials provided and enter personal, academic details.
- Upload scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature and category certificate, and PwBD Certificate wherever applicable.
- Pay the requisite examination fee through online mode.
- Review the CUET application form and “Submit”.
Students who have passed Class 12 with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the CUET exam 2025.
Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 while OBC-NCL category candidates will have to deposit Rs 900. SC, ST, PwBD, and third gender category candidates will have to make a fee payment of Rs 800. The application fee for centres outside India is Rs 4,500.
