Download NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the day 1 of the CUET UG 2026 exam today for admission to undergraduate (UG) programmes. According to the NIRF 2025 university category list, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and the University of Delhi (DU) have ruled the top places for various UG programmes .
As per previous years trends, while Delhi University is the top pick for students seeking admission to BCom (Hons) and BA programmes through CUET UG 2026 , Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) follows close competition for multipledisciplinary studies, particularly in agriculture, psychology and the arts.
The CUET UG 2026 participating universities will release the CUET UG cut-offs on their official websites. Candidates will be able to visit the official websites of the CUET participating universities to check CUET UG cut-off 2026 for their respective courses.
The cut-offs marks will be based on the student’s performance in the CUET UG 2026 entrance test.

Moreover, there has been a significant surge in the number of state and private universities participating in the CUET UG 2026.
Top state level universities for CUET UG 2026 include Dr BR Ambedkar University (Delhi) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), while top private universities constitutes Ashoka University and Chandigarh University.
The NTA is conducting the CUET UG 2026 from May 11 to May 31 in a hybrid format (Computer-Based Test and Pen-Paper mode for high-volume subjects). The college entrance tests are being held in dual shifts.
The morning shift is being held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.
