CUSB PG Admission 2025: Candidates will have to email the application form by August 18 and report with original documents for verification. The merit list will be prepared from candidates reporting in person on the respective admission day.

The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) will conduct spot admissions on August 20 and 21, 2025, to fill vacant seats in its postgraduate (PG) programmes for the 2025-26 academic session. As per the official notice, the spot round admissions will be held at the CUSB campus in Gaya.
Eligible candidates who appeared in the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 can email the duly filled application form for the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) spot round admission to spotadmission@cusb.ac.in. The last date to submit the CUSB spot round application form by email is August 18, 2025.
According to the notification, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can apply even if they have not appeared for the CUET PG 2025. Their selection will be based on the percentage obtained in their undergraduate degree.
“Admission against the vacant seats under SC & ST categories shall be opened for all the candidates who either appeared in CUET-2025 or not belongs to the respective Categories, who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified for concerned programme of study,” the official notice said.
Candidates who applied for the admission process will have to physically report at the institute on the respective admission day, along with original documents with self-attested photocopies for verification. The merit list will be prepared from candidates reporting in person by 12:30 pm on the respective admission day, based on CUET (PG) 2025 scores for general admission and undergraduate marks for SC and ST seats.
The institute further states that both registered and unregistered candidates on the SAMARTH portal will also be considered for admission. The list of selected candidates will be announced at 2 pm on the same day. The final list of vacant seats may include cancellations received before the spot admission dates.
Unregistered candidates who are offered admission will be required to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 for General, Other Backwards Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories. Candidates from SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay Rs 200. Along with this, candidates are also required to pay the full programme fee by 3:30 pm to confirm their seat.
“On failure to complete the admission process including the payment of fee by the stipulated time, the offer of admission shall be cancelled and the seat will be automatically allotted to the next candidate in order of merit,” the official notice said.

Candidates can view the list of vacant seats for the CUSB 2025 spot admission from the table provided below. The spot admission will be held on August 20 at Chanakya Bhawan, CUSB Campus, and on August 21 at Aryabhatta Bhawan, CUSB Campus.
