Delhi school non-plan admissions 2024 through common admission test; registration from April 18

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi has decided to admit students to Class 10, 12 in government schools through a Common Admission Test (CAT) for the academic year 2024-25. As per the schedule, the registration for Delhi government school admission 2024 will begin from April 18. The test for Delhi non-plan admission 2024 will be conducted on May 9.
Only students residing in Delhi are allowed to seek admission to Class 10, 12 in Delhi government schools through non-plan admissions.
Delhi Non-Plan Admission 2024: Eligibility criteria
The criteria for admission to Classes 10, 12 is given below.
Class 12
- The applicant must have passed Class 11 from a recognised school as a regular student during 2023-24 with desired subjects. Moreover, students must have obtained the minimum marks in Class 10 required for the opted stream.
- Students who have passed Class 10 from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with 55% marks or above are eligible for humanities without skill subjects.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get 5% relaxation in any one of the three subjects mentioned for admission. Specially abled students will get a 5% cut in all subjects.
Class 10
Students must have passed Class 9 from a recognized school as a regular student during 2023-24 academic year.

- Copy of Class 9 marksheet
- Copy of valid residence proof
For Class 12
- Copy of Class 10, 11 marksheets
- Copy of caste certificate and national game participation certificate
- Copy of residence proof
