Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi will display the list of vacant seats for the round 2 of undergraduate admissions (DU UG admissions) 2024 today, August 22. The DU UG admission 2024 vacant seats will be made available on the CSAS portal- admission.uod.ac.in.

As per the schedule of the university, the DU UG first round ended on August 21. After the list of vacant seats is released, candidates can re-order higher preferences from August 22 to August 23, 2024.
Students will be able to make changes in their preferences on or before August 23, 2024, by 4:59 pm. The last date for online payment to secure DU UG 2024 admissions in the second round is August 30 (up to 4:59 pm). The DU UG round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on August 25.
Candidates must confirm their acceptance of the allotted seat by August 27. Colleges will conduct verification and approve admissions by August 29, with the final deadline for fee payment set for August 30.
DU UG Application 2024: 65,290 admissions confirmed so far
According to the report, in the first round of seat allocation for DU UG admissions 2024, 65,290 admissions have been confirmed so far, with 17,868 candidates choosing to freeze their seats and another 42,668 opting for the freeze option. Overall, 83,678 acceptances have been recorded out of a total of 97,387 allocations in this round.
Out of over 2,45,000 applicants who applied for undergraduate courses based on the CUET UG 2024 results, around 1,85,000 have submitted their course and college preferences to date.
According to information provided by the university, approximately 71,600 undergraduate seats are available at DU colleges. In the first round, seat allocation exceeded the total number of seats by 36%, as the university aims to fill seats efficiently and commence the academic session on August 29.
