NEW DELHI: Delhi University will commence the registration process for spot round 1 counselling for undergraduate programmes across tomorrow, September 18. Interested candidates will be able to register for DU UG spot round 1 admission 2024 through the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.
As per the schedule, the university will display vacant seats on September 18. Candidates will be able to register for DU UG spot round 1 counselling till September 19 until 11:59 pm. The DU UG spot round 1 seat allotment result 2024 on September 21.
Candidates who participated in spot round counselling will have to use their login credentials including their registration number and password to download the DU UG spot round 1 seat allotment result 2024. Candidates have to accept the allotted seat between September 21 to September 22 (11:59 pm).
Colleges will verify and approve online applications from by 4:59 pm on September 23. A total of 72,263 admissions have been confirmed till September 15, the university said.
Candidates who applied for CSAS UG 2024 at Delhi University but have not secured admission to any college by 5 pm on September 17 are eligible to participate in the first round of spot admissions. Once the deadline passes, the dashboard for admitted candidates will be locked, and they will no longer be able to withdraw their admissions.
To be eligible for spot admission, candidates must choose the 'Spot Admission' option via their dashboard. They can only select Program + College combinations where seats are available, based on their category, according to the university.
Delhi University has stated that candidates must accept the seat allotted to them in Spot Round 1 of admissions. If a candidate does not accept the seat offered in this round, they will lose their eligibility for further admission and will be removed from the entire admission process. This means that failing to take the offered seat will result in the candidate being disqualified from seeking admission through any future rounds.
