The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) January 2026 session. Candidates can download the FMGE January 2026 result on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

According to the FMGE January 2026 results, a total of 43,933 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of these, 10,264 candidates qualified, while 32,604 candidates failed. Additionally, 1,061 candidates were absent, and the results of 4 candidates have been withheld.
A pass percentage of 23.37% was recorded in the FMGE exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download their FMGE scorecard from February 6. The scorecard will be available for download for six months from the date of issuance.
The FMGE Jan 2026 result includes information such as the candidate’s roll number, marks obtained (out of 300), and qualifying status.
To pass the FMGE exam, candidates must score at least 150 out of 300 marks. Those who qualify will be awarded pass certificates and provisional registration certificates, enabling them to pursue their medical careers in India.

The steps to download the FMGE January result 2026 are as follows.
- Visit the official website, natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in
- Click on the “FMGE Examinations” tab under the “Screening Test” section.
- Under the “December” section, click on the “Result Link.”
- The FMGE 2026 result is displayed on the screen.
- Use Ctrl+F keys to check the FMGE 2026 result.
- Download and save the FMGE result 2026.
- Take a printout of the FMGE results for future reference.
NBEMS conducted the FMGE January 2026 exam on January 17. In the FMGE June session 2025 exam , the pass rate stood at 18.61%, showing a steep drop of 11 percentage points as compared to the previous year's exams.
