Goa NEET UG 2025: 3,105 general, 805 OBC candidates qualify for MBBS, BDS counselling; merit list out

Download EBookThe Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Porvorim has declared the merit list for the Goa National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 counselling today, August 5. A total of 3,105 general and 805 Other Backward Case (OBC) candidates have been selected to participate in the round 1 counselling.
Candidates who qualified the NEET UG can register for admission to the MBBS, BDS and other nursing courses through the official website at dte.goa.gov.in.
Goa NEET UG 2025 counselling will be held in two rounds and the third round will be a mop-up round. The last round will only take place in case of vacant seats. According to the official notification, all candidates must report at DTE to participate in the admission process at least 30 minutes prior to round timing.
NEET-qualified candidates must carry all original documents, including a photograph, acknowledgement card and valid photo ID proof at the time of counselling.
“Candidates figuring in more than one category in the final merit list, can attend the round of admission in all the categories in which they are eligible to avail the seat of their choice,” the official statement read.
The authority is currently conducting Goa NEET 2025 counselling for 85% of the state quota seats. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of 15% all India Quota (AIQ) seats in Goa through the counselling.
