Gujarat Special TET 2025 on October 12 in 4 districts; shift timings announced

Gujarat: The board clarified that verification of academic qualifications, age, and other criteria will be carried out by the Recruitment Selection Committee.
The Gujarat State Examination Board has announced the schedule for Special Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 for differently-abled students in government primary schools. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted in two shifts on October 12.
The state board has announced that the exam will be held in four districts — Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, and Surat – in two shifts on the same day. The notification comes after the Gujarat High Court’s earlier order directing the officials to expedite the hiring process for special educators in state schools.
Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form will be eligible to appear for the exam. The board clarified that verification of academic qualifications, age, and other criteria will be carried out by the Recruitment Selection Committee, whose decision will be final.

The board will also conduct the Head Teacher Aptitude Test (HTAT 2025) exam under the special recruitment drive for persons with disabilities (PwDs). The exam will be conducted on September 21 from 1 pm to 3 pm in Ahmedabad city, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Surat districts.
The hall ticket for the Gujarat head teacher will be released on September 12 and will be available till September 21 up to 11 am. Candidates have been advised to download the admit card before the deadline to be eligible for the exam.
